The foundation constructed the building in 1928 when Northbrook\u2019s population was less than 1,000.\u00a0 PHOTO OF THE BUILDING???<\/p>\n<p>The foundation turned the building over to the Village of Northbrook to house the village\u2019s first fire station. The building was restored into an attractive, functional facility, with offices, large community meeting rooms and a kitchen and rededicated in 1986.
